Richard Holway MBE
Richard Holway MBE is
considered to be one of the UK's leading IT analysts
Richard is the chairman of the technology research firm
TechMarketView LLP which produces the daily UKHotViews. He also
sits on the boards of a number of private and public companies.
Richard started in computing in 1966 as a programmer. He
progressed to become Group Marketing Director of Hoskyns (now
Capgemini) in 1979, before forming Richard Holway Limited in
1986.
Richard Holway Limited became the leading authority on the
financial performance of the UK software and IT services market. In
November 2000 Richard Holway Limited was acquired by Ovum where
Richard continued to serve as a main board director. In March 2006.
Ovum successfully IPOed on AIM and, in December 2006, was acquired
by Datamonitor.
In 2002, Richard was one of the founding members of The Prince's
Trust Technology Leadership Group and served as its Chairman from
April 2007 to March 2009. Richard is now Vice Chair of the Prince’s
Trust Development Board.
