R&CLG Members Searcys Event
Members of
the Retail and Consumer Leadership group rounded off the year in
fine style with an event kindly supported by new member Searcys at
their Georgian townhouse.
The latest R&CLG event celebrated the success of the group
last year and provided the opportunity for members to really get to
know our work. The group were privileged to meet two of our young
ambassadors and to hear the difference our work makes directly from
one of these young people. Speeches from Martina Milburn CEO of The
Prince's Trust and Steve Rowley R&CLG Chair further highlighted
the need for support and the vital role that the retail sector has
to play in our support for young people.
In total the group raised nearly £1.3m last year helping a huge
number of young people to find employment. In addition the group
has been instrumental in providing support for our Get Into Retail
courses providing work placements and vital industry expertise to
these programmes.
