Join us

The Retail Leadership Group (RLG) is a cost-effective way for your business to build its corporate social responsibility credentials and help make a real impact to the lives of the hardest to reach young people around the UK.

The Trust is extremely efficient and cost effective. Around 84p out of every pound we spend goes directly on delivering and developing our programmes and services for young people.

We invite you to join us by making a minimum annual donation of £15,000 to The Prince’s Trust for a three year period, £25,000 for one single year or join as a Patron of the Group by donating £100,000 (payable over up to four years). These funds will directly support young people living in your community.

Foster enterprise and boost inclusion

Your donation will go directly to support young people through programmes and initiatives in the Retail sector which will help them to gain new skills and training leading to employment within the industry. It will change lives.

As a member you can:

  • Access unique events

The Prince's Trust stages industry-specific events and networking opportunities within the wider business community. We feature sought-after industry speakers in excellent venues. As an independent charity working closely with Government and business, The Prince's Trust is uniquely placed to facilitate discussion and debate - building bridges across and beyond the sector.

  • Enhance your profile

RLG supporters will be listed on The Prince's Trust website, which gets around 100,000 unique visitors each month. Our events and initiatives receive coverage in the insurance trade press and can be sponsored by companies looking to further their profile within a specific industry area.

  • Help to ensure young people’s futures

The Retail sector is the largest employer in the UK equating to around 11% of the UK workforce. The RLG aims to have a positive impact on the lives of young people from our target groups, with a special focus on those who are long-term unemployed and those who have a criminal past or both. Through leveraging the growing support of the RLG we hope to help this target group get a start in the retail sector.

  • Give something back

You and your employees will have access to a range of structured volunteering opportunities. You could, for example, make a difference to the survival of a new venture by becoming a business mentor, or help a group of young people get one step closer to finding a job by helping them write their first CV.
