Message from Simon Patterson, Chair of Internet and Media Leadership Group and Managing Director at Silver Lake

For the first time, entrepreneurs and companies from the internet and media sectors have come together to make a difference to young people who need help.

Simon Patterson

The Internet and Media Leadership Group (IMLG) was formed in early 2010 to help young people from disadvantaged backgrounds fulfil their ambitions in life. It has since become the fastest growing Leadership Group in The Trust's history and can count some of the most recognisable companies and entrepreneurs within the internet, broadcasting, advertising, publishing, gaming and related sectors as members.

Its primary focus is to raise money for The Prince’s Trust but in addition, companies in the group donate their expertise to help The Trust improve its online presence and expand its awareness amongst young people and the public.

Members benefit by joining the group in a number of ways. It is a proven method of promoting corporate social responsibility and enhancing your brand and profile, whilst also promoting your company within the internet and media industry. The IMLG has an enviable events calendar drawing in key speakers from the industry hosted in venues ranging from Royal Palaces to the Houses of Parliament. As a member, you are able to sponsor these events, and will also be listed on our website and in publicity materials.

You and your employees will have access to an extensive range of enterprising competitions, challenge events and volunteering. The initiatives are designed to help organisations develop valuable workforce skills such as team work, communication, leadership and coaching skills.

Become part of the Internet and Media Leadership Group and help transform young lives.
