ILG Sporting Chance quiz raises £8,000
The KIA Oval was the setting for a battle of
sporting brains, with Cairn Capital emerging victorious.
The Insurance Leadership Group's brand new event, 'A
Sporting Chance', saw teams compete against each other at The
KIA Oval with ex-England International defender Gareth Southgate as
quizmaster (picture with winners Cairn Capital).
The evening, which was sponsored by Allianz Insurance
plc and Ingram Hawkins and Nock, was not just fantastic fun
but raised a brilliant £8,000 to go towards The Prince's Trust
valuable work with disadvantaged young people.
Guests heard from Young Ambassador Djeni Lubwa, who has overcome
huge obstacles such as bullying and gang trouble
to attend college where she is studying A Levels in
English Literature, Sociology, Drama and Psychology.
