This will mark the beginning of a new three year partnership which continues their support to fund Enterprise across England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland.

The Prince’s Trust and RBS have been working together to support young people for more than a decade. Since 2009, the partnership has focused on encouraging enterprise in disadvantaged communities across the UK, with award winning results.

Julian Barrell, Director of Fundraising at The Prince’s Trust says:

"We are delighted to be entering into a new three year partnership with RBS. We are looking forward to continuing to deepen the impact of the partnership for the good of young people in the UK interested in Enterprise.

£3m funding will support The Trust’s work helping over 1,500 young people explore their entrepreneurial ideas and consider self-employment as an option.

Thom Kenrick, Group Sustainability, The Royal Bank of Scotland Group says:

"Our Inspiring Youth Enterprise commitment is to help 100,000 young people explore enterprise, build their skills and start up in business over the next 3 years.

"Our partnership with The Prince’s Trust is vital to this goal and will help us to ensure that enterprise is an option for as many young people as possible, whatever their background."
