RBS announceS £3m pledge to support UK enterprise
The Royal Bank Group has announced a £3m
pledge to support the next generation of UK enterprise over the
next three years.
As part of
the recently launched RBS Inspiring Enterprise initiative, The
Royal Bank of Scotland Group (RBS) has announced a new £3m pledge
in support of The Prince’s Trust Enterprise programme.
This will mark the beginning of a new three year
partnership which continues their support to fund Enterprise across
England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland.
RBS are already the largest corporate supporter of The Trust's
Enterprise programme, providing
disadvantaged young people with access to funding and mentor
support to enable them to start up in business
The Prince’s Trust and RBS have been working together to support
young people for more than a decade. Since 2009, the partnership
has focused on encouraging enterprise in disadvantaged communities
across the UK, with award winning results.

£3m funding will support The Trust’s work
helping over 1,500 young people explore their entrepreneurial ideas
and consider self-employment as an option.
