Adventure Challenges: Himalayas
Conquer Rapids and Peaks!
In central Nepal the captivating Annapurna
massif rises from the mighty Himalayas. These huge, dramatic
mountains form the stunning setting for this seven-day adventure
challenge.
The 2011 challenge
- Hiked, biked
and white-water rafted 286 kilometres in seven
days
- Inspired by two of the planet's ten
highest mountains which formed the backdrop to the Challenge;
Dhaulagiri and Annapurna 1, both over 8,000m
- Stayed in a combination of tents and tea
houses and experienced the unique local culture
- Raised money to help change the lives of
the UK's most disadvantaged young people

It was honestly the hardest but most rewarding
and most important thing I have ever done.
