Job Ambassadors

Do you have a passion for youth work? Want an opportunity to achieve your potential?

Job AmbassadorsJob Ambassadors will be recruited from amongst those young people who have already volunteered as Young Ambassadors and will be based in unemployment hotspots across each of our regions and countries.

Each week, they will visit a range of community venues, from job centres to youth clubs, cafes to care homes, sports clubs to shopping centers.

Through one-on-one surgeries and small group sessions, they will provide advice, guidance and, above all, inspiration to those furthest from the jobs market.

The plan is for each Job Ambassador to meet 20 to 30 young people each week – 1,000 or more each year. In total, the scheme will employ 300 young people and reach 300,000 more.

If you have successfully completed a Prince's Trust programme and have been through our Young Ambassador scheme, you can apply.

Becoming a Job Ambassador

Job Ambassadors will be recruited from amongst those young people who have already volunteered as Young Ambassadors.

Current and former Young Ambassadors interested in becoming a Job Ambassador will be invited to attend an information and recruitment day in their area, where they can find out more about the role of a Job Ambassador, ask questions, complete an application form and undergo a short interview.
