Sean Gallagher

Sean
Gallagher is the founder and CEO of the ITHR Group plc. Having
joined the IT recruitment industry in 1986, his early years were
spent at KPG in Richmond as a specialist in the contract operations
field before moving on to Computer People in 1992.
Building on an extremely successful 13 years working for major
industry players, Sean founded IT Human Resources plc in 1999 with
his life savings in their first office in Haymarket, London. From
there the Company moved to new office in Leicester Square in 2000
and again to its present HQ in Piccadilly in 2010.
Sean has guided the ITHR Group plc though three
“recessions” in that time and has grown to employ nearly 100 full
time staff across five trading entities and a turnover in excess of
£30m, with a healthy net profit position and highly cash positive
balance sheet. The Group now offers a diverse offering of services
ranging from contract and permanent recruitment across the Global
stage (ITHR has placed compliant freelancers in over 30 countries)
to Consulting and outsourced software services from their dedicated
London based development centre. ITHR also operates a Microsoft
dedicated, and directly supported by Microsoft, job board for the
MS Partner Network – something that is unique and sets them apart
from their recruitment competitors.
Sean is a fellow of the Institute of Directors (FIoD) and a
qualified Chartered Director (CDir) with the IoD. He is also a
fellow of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC), which
is the recruitment industry’s governing body and sits on the Board
of directors and the Technology sector executive. Sean’s extremely
successful career has been built on the ethic of total
professionalism and quality of service to all stakeholders, be they
clients, candidates, suppliers or staff.
