Invest in Futures

Invest in Futures is an initiative that unites the financial services industry for the common cause of investing in disadvantaged young people and helping them become economically active.

Launched in 2005 by Michael Marks CBE, the initiative has raised more than an incredible £14.7m for The Prince’s Trust, supporting tens of thousands of young people into jobs, education, training or volunteering. This in turn has impacted on the wider UK society, saving millions in state benefits.

Invest in Futures 3The centrepiece of the Invest in Futures initiative is the annual gala dinner, supported by leading members of hedge fund communities, senior investment banking executives across Europe and the US and high net worth supporters of The Prince’s Trust.

Each year the events have become higher profile and more glamorous with previous performances from Eric Clapton, Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, Sting, Joss Stone and Bryan Adams.

The 2012 Invest in Future event, supported by Bank of America Merrill Lynch, saw city high flyers coming together at the newly re-opened Savoy Hotel to raise £1million for The Prince’s Trust. The evening was hosted by favourite British comedian Michael McIntyre and the guests were entertained with performances by Jools Holland and his Band, Lulu and Alison Moyet.

Invest in Futures 2013

Invest in Futures 2013 took place on Thursday 14th February and raised an inspiring £1.2m for The Prince's Trust. The gala dinner was hosted by Michael McIntyre and will featured a special performance by Gary Barlow.

The exclusive auction included fantastic prizes, helping to raise money to enable The Prince’s Trust to invest in the futures of disadvantaged young people. This year The Trust aims to support at least 55,000 vulnerable young people across the UK, and needs to raise over £1 million a week.
