What we offer

Prince's Trust centres currently offer the Fairbridge programme, which is an individually tailored personal development programme combining one-to-one support and group activities.

Originally Fairbridge in Greater Manchester, we became part of The Prince's Trust in 2011.

Our work covers five of the ten local authorities that comprise Greater Manchester: Salford, Manchester, Tameside, Trafford and Stockport. The other five are covered by the North Manchester Centre.

The Fairbridge programme begins with an Access course, which is five days of challenging and adventurous activities. You can sign up to an Access course in either Salford or Stockport. The upcoming dates of these courses can be seen below.

  • A new youth leadership project in Greater Manchester is bringing together young people from the Fairbridge programme with young refugees and asylum seekers from Union Street Media Arts.
  • The X Factor's Jamie 'Afro' Archer performed his debut single at The Prince's Trust Salford Centre, after its official opening ceremony.
  • A team of Salford Centre members and supporters from Pizza Express took on the Three Peaks of Scotland, England and Wales, completing the 24 miles in 24 hours.
