Million Makers Events Update

We just wanted to update you on some exciting events coming up this autumn that might be of interest to you.

Every year we run a corporate competition called Million Makers which challenges groups of individuals in local companies to form a fundraising team with a target of £10,000. The aim is that with enough teams around the country in the competition The Prince’s Trust raises £1million.

There are 6 Million Makers teams in the North East who have been working hard to put together an impressive array of different fundraising activities, events and ideas. Below you will find information on what’s coming up, please support them if you can.

Ward Hadaway

• 5-a-side Football Tournament and Talk in with Newcastle Legend John Beresford
• Saturday 23rd October - Complete Football, Gosforth Park

Tickets are £40 including tournament, trophies, cross bar challenge and access to a post match talk in event with John Beresford, pie, peas and a pint with live coverage of the West Ham v Newcastle match. Talk in only tickets are available for £15.

Civil Service North East

• Tyneside Irish Club Fundraiser
• Friday 19th November - Tyneside Irish Club, Newcastle
• Tickets are £10 including buffet and entertainment provided by kickback

Jingle Bell Ball

• Thursday 2nd December – Thistle Hotel, Middlesbrough
• This black tie event is being organised by a fundraising committee in Middlesbrough and includes a champagne reception, Christmas dinner plus coffee and mince pies as well as entertainment from Jeff Dingle and the Moodswing Trio
• Tickets are £50 or £450 for a table of 10
